RISE WITH GRATITUDE

Let’s get the next generation moving with gratitude! We are on a mission to bring gratitude into primary schools (Year 5 classes/KS2) with the first ever gratitude-themed week, RISE WITH GRATITUDE, launching in Tower Hamlets, on November 8th 2021

Since its 2020 launch, Run Grateful has created around-the-world virtual events centred around gratitude and movement. In March 2021, our most recent youth-focused WeAreNext programme was created, seeing how instrumental gratitude can be for children and young people in building their resilience, self-awareness, and empathy.

RISE WITH GRATITUDE involves daily, bite-size opportunities to connect gratitude with movement, leading up to a grateful mile, where participants are invited to reflect on what they are feeling grateful for while walking or jogging. With our step-by-step guide and ready to use worksheets, the week is fully funded by us and aims to spread the positive ripple effect that gratitude creates across primary schools (Year 5 classes/KS2), starting with you!

We also would like to invite your entire school to do a grateful mile on the final day (Friday) of RISE WITH GRATITUDE.

ABOUT RUN GRATEFUl

Amid the anxiety and uncertainty that arose from the pandemic, social entrepreneur Mark White founded Run Grateful, a global running initiative using the power of gratitude with movement as the vehicle. Since its September 2020 launch, Run Grateful has created virtual fitness events centred around gratitude and movement, extending across 50 different countries around the world.

At Run Grateful, we believe that the spark that can ignite a trend towards a global gratitude attitude is the enthusiasm of people of all backgrounds and fitness levels, who discover that grateful living makes life meaningful and fulfilling. A Gratitude Mile is not about speed, getting fitter, or even clearing your head; it is about being mindful, even if for a mile’s distance, about everything that adds abundance to your life. The Run Grateful community is also a celebration of personal stories and gratitude tributes that serve as the connective tissue of this world-wide mindfulness walking/running movement.
